For this event we have singer from China to Hobart to present you the best tunes and characters from Chinese Art Songs! 

Performances are accompanied by Kevin Kang. Kevin is a musician with a dual background in violin and piano performance. Being a multi-styled player, Kevin masters a range of genres including classical, rock band and jazz music.

Chinese art song is a vocal music genre where verses, classic or contemporary, are set to music with their inherent tones and rhythms in the language. We selected some most memorable pieces of Chinese art song to perform as a humble reflection on the spirit and muse of their inspired creators.
